#1. I love camp in winter!
I remember the first time I ever came out to camp in the winter. It felt so strange, because I got to know this place in summer, and then went away and had all these amazing memories of summer camp. When I came back to Red Rock for the Staff Reunion at New Years, it was like coming back to this place I knew so well and loved so much, but it looked completely different!
The Whiteshell is so incredibly beautiful in the winter, and I really feel sorry for anyone who has to spend their winter looking at disgustingly dirty snow (because snow was meant to be white) and no evergreen trees! Every day when I look out my window, I am struck all over again by how beautiful it is out here. It
