Yesterday’s events were pretty much identical to today, except for today’s Special Program event. We played Minute to Win It, and all the cabins were grouped into four teams that competed against each other.

In chapel Kim spoke on the parable of the hidden treasure. “If that man sold everything he owned, he must have thought that the treasure he bought was worth way more than what he had owned.” -Kim

 If the Kingdom of heaven is so valuable, why wouldn’t we give everything we have up just to be a part of it? Why not give our lives to Jesus?

At the end of chapel Kim reminded the campers that they had the opportunity to talk to their counselors if they wanted to devote their lives to Christ. He used today’s memory verse: Mark 8:36-37. “What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?”
