As a Not For Profit Christian Camp, we rely on financial contributions from our friends to help us accomplish our mission of making and growing disciples of Christ through Christian Camping.
We also accept donations that are called, “Gifts in Kind”. Examples of “Gifts in Kind” we have received in the past include, pickups, generators, boats, boat motors, a sail boat, refrigerators, ovens, washers, dryers and all kinds of furniture.
While we do not want to seem ungrateful, we do not want that couch that was in your living room for ten years before you moved it to the basement where the kids and the family dog enjoyed it for another ten years.
You may not be aware that we can actually issue tax deductible receipts for the fair market value of Gifts in kind.
Below is a list of things that we are looking for right now. If you have one of these items or something else you think we could use and you would like to bless us with it, please call Kim Coursey, our Executive Director at 204-326-9784.
We are currently looking for:
A Wakeboard Boat. Our boats are getting old and have a lot of hours on them. We are looking for an inboard, or an inboard\outboard (stern drive) with an open bow. A boat with a wakeboard tower would be ideal, but not necessary.
A log splitter. We burn wood at camp in our fire places and wood stoves. Rather than rent a splitter every year, we are hoping someone would donate one to the camp.
A deck trailer or car trailer approximately 8′ X 16′ so our maintenance staff can haul building materials to maintain our camp.
Lumber! Any size or shape that is in good condition to do large and small projects around camp.
Your Canadian Tire Money! We can use it to buy sports equipment for campers to play with.
Your excess Airmiles or other Points can help send our Full Time Staff to training events.
