Ok, I’m just kidding about the cookie, but I wanted to catch your attention.

I was perusing some blog stats recently, and took note of the fact that we have had over 1000 hits on our blog since we started it up about 4 months ago. We really should have tried tracking to see who was the 1000th person to visit, but I don’t actually think we have that kind of setup anyway. If we did, maybe we could have given that person a free cookie!? Hmmm…..maybe a cookie to the 1000th comment on the blog?

Anyway, back to the point. I know there are many different people who drop by this blog. We have former staff, current staff, campers, supporters, friends, family, random people, and various other people who may or may not have a connection with camp. So there is a wide variety of people making those 1000 hits. That is WONDERFUL! One of the goals of this blog is to raise the awareness of things happening at camp year-round, and to just connect with you. Camp means so much to so many different people that we want to provide an opportunity for everyone to feel more…connected!

So please, continue to check the blog out. We have some exciting new ideas for the blog that should be making their appearance in the next couple of weeks. And please leave comments to let us know what you think. Give us ideas, or just drop a short little note about something. Maybe even something relevant!

And finally, like the title of this post says, maybe spread the word to your friends or co-workers. My hope is that even people who have never been to camp can find even a small part of this blog interesting, and get acquainted with this wonderful place called Red Rock Bible Camp. And if you tell someone about the blog, I might even give you a free cookie. Just kidding!
