#108. I love getting to know the Spring Staff like…Dave!
One of the best things about Dave is that he can say the most ordinary thing, but the way in which he says it makes it the funniest thing you’ve heard all day. (He’s also very good at saying things that are not ordinary at all, too.) Dave has the best attitude about work. When he was applying for Spring Staff, and was asked what position he was interested in, his reply was to put him wherever he was needed the most. He is willing to help out however he can, and will do it very cheerfully. Everyone enjoys being around Dave. I have already heard a number of comments about how much fun it is to have Dave working in the kitchen. He is just all around pleasant to be with, and is kind, thoughtful, cheerful, and funny. Anika also wants me to add that she likes the sound of his voice! (We don’t sing hymns at camp often, but when we do, the best place to sit is beside Dave, because he will sing it well!)
