#113. I love getting to know the spring staff, like…Kelly!
As soon as Matt was hired as our new Food Services Director, we knew that his girlfriend Kelly would be joining us on staff for spring and summer. I was very curious to meet her, and find out what kind of girl would be deep enough to match Matt’s spiritual passion, goofy enough to keep up with his sense of humor, strong and confident enough to stand beside him as an equal, and be as beautiful as she looked in the picture on his fridge. Well, she hasn’t been at camp very long, and I know that there is much to find out about her yet, but she is really a wonderful person, and we are so excited to have her on staff for the summer. And she does help me to see what kind of a girl it takes to keep up with Matt! She is sweet, funny, kind and thoughtful, and it only took her about 2 seconds after arriving here to win Anika’s heart. The kids all love her, and the parents sit around watching her wondering where in the world she gets the energy to go flying after our children while working long days in the kitchen.
