1) Everyone went home!
The last day of summer camp always looks like that – one big, crazy mess of everyone’s stuff. And it always makes me so sad to see the summer staff go.
2) Empty, quiet camp.
After all the noise and action of camp, this week always comes as a bit of a shock. I keep expecting to see people, and hear the usual camp noises, but everything is just very still…
But it’s also very nice and peaceful. The full time staff take this week to recover a bit from everything before heading into a busy fall schedule. To see what our family has been up to this last week, go here.
