Well today has flown by fast! What a gorgeous day for the campers to arrive.
After the campers arrived, they had an orientation, which was followed by a fabulous BBQ put on by our amazing kitchen staff.
This afternoon was skill time, and campers got to try out all sorts of things from canoeing to arts and crafts.
After supper was the Big Brother Big Sister program, where the support staff gets a chance to be in the cabins and make connections with the kids.
Tonight’s chapel was our first visit with Chester and Christine. We learned about the Kingdom and the King. One of the verses Christine talked about was Psalm 145:7. “Your Kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.”
