An interesting thing happened in the Worship Night tonight. Earlier this week it may have been mentioned that we weren’t seeing any movement or reaction to the Holy Spirit. It turned out that the Holy Spirit was indeed moving, and campers (and staff) were indeed responding. At the worship night, everyone was given the chance to share things they had made commitments to. But when the floor opened up, it became dead silent. Alison (the worship leader) kept trying to get the first person to share, but to no avail. Then as a last attempt, she asked for anyone who had made any sort of commitment to raise their hand. And the interesting thing was that the majority of the chapel raised their hands. Only a few didn’t, in fact, it looked like everyone did. What an incredible thing to witness- God moving in ways that we as a staff could not see until He wanted us to.
Thank you for praying for Summer Sizzler. It really was evident. God showed up.
