Fun in the Sun!!!

Day 3!!

This morning the campers got to enjoy morning chapel where the camp pastor talked about the parable of the prodigal son. In wilderness skill, campers got to enjoy making bannock with the fire they made with their skill leaders. For special program campers got to soak their counselours and eachother during waterballoon fights! Supper was mountain themed with hammocks hanging in the dining hall, decorated trees, tents and counselours wearing hiking clothes. During the meal there was a skit and s’more dessert. In chapel Shannon talked about how Jesus takes what is unhealthy and makes it healthy and takes pain and makes peace. God loves us by giving us what we need even when we don’t understand why it is good for us.
