Ignite 1 Here we Come!

Today we welcomed the Ignite 1 campers of 2019, it was a full day of fun. The campers arrived in the morning and had a barbeque lunch cooked by our wonderful kitchen staff. It is a full week with 87 campers. The campers got to choose the three skills that they will get to partake in this week. Although we did have to work around some thunder and some light rain, everyone was still smiling and laughing. The campers got to enjoy some fun time with their big brothers and big sisters as well. Today the campers also had the first chapel of the week. They learned the definition of elevate and why we should elevate Jesus, along with that they looked at Philippians 2:9-11. Campers also learned the what the word Lord means, and how it can apply to our lives, they were reminded that God knows them each, and wants them to fix their eyes on him and make him Lord.
