Beach Party and Dunk Competition!

Today was the first full day of Summer Scorcher 2019! The day was welcomed in with sunny weather, tons of activities and special program. Campers had their first morning watch with their big brothers and sisters and participated in discovery with their cabins. During Swim Boat Tuck, we had basketball and volleyball tournaments in which both campers and staff participated. During chapel this evening we learned about the story of Maphibosheth and how God’s love is all encompassing and unconditional. After chapel, we headed down to the beach for our annual beach party, where we had snack and a limbo competition, then went to the basketball court and watched a dunk competition where campers and staff competed for the title of Dunk Competition Champion of 2019. It was a great day of friendship and fun!
