1) The big excitement at camp this week is that the ice is gone on the lake!!
Unfortunately, it didn’t disappear quite soon enough for Joel, who kept calling (daily?) in March to check if the ice was gone so that he could come out to go waterskiing, just so that he could say he did it. But now it’s April, which doesn’t sound nearly as impressive as waterskiing in March….
2) And that brings me to another highlight of the week – putting the new boat into the lake for the first time. Instead of the old joke, “How many blondes does it take to change a light bulb”, Ben would like to ask, “How many Red Rock staff does it take to get the new boat in the water?” The answer is, almost all of them, because it was so exciting that everybody wanted to be a part of it.
3)And of course, this week we had to check out Jeremy’s new video on the blog.
Kaylia was so impressed with it that she didn’t change her expression, move, blink, breathe?? for the whole 7 minutes that I had it on. And then when it was over, she sighed a big sigh. I think she’s hooked.
Good job, Jeremy!
