If you’ve ever been interested in helping out at camp, but have never been able to commit to a full week, I have the perfect opportunity for you!
During the summer, we bring in weekend volunteers to help reheat leftovers for our amazing summer staff. This allows our kitchen staff to have a break on weekends, with the hope that they will be able to refresh themselves for another intense week of camp. These weekend volunteers are AMAZING and really are providing a huge help.
If you are interested in being a part of this opportunity, please let me know! The first meal that needs to be heated up is Saturday supper, and the last one ends at Sunday supper. We even get summer staff to help with clean-up by running the dishwasher and helping with pots and pans. The relaxed atmosphere, and the fact that most of the work is heating up leftovers, gives these wonderful volunteers a chance to sit on the beach, go for a ski, and just enjoy being at the camp for a weekend. It’s a great chance for you to spread the love of Jesus to our summer staff, and to enjoy a weekend at the lake at the same time!
