Some of the younger staff may not even know what the Joshua Tree is, but all the older ones do. So you will all be shocked to hear that the tree has been CUT DOWN! We could hardly believe our eyes when we drove past. I almost felt like crying. It was such a big, beautiful tree. And it didn’t even die a natural death. It was deliberately cut down. So sad. Anika always looked for it every time we drove to the city and back, so our family will miss it.
