#18. I really, really love the Program Director!
And today it’s 10 years since he took me out on our first date! So I think that today is a fantastic day to publicly say that I think Ben’s doing a great job, and I love watching him enjoying his job and getting better at it all the time. I love watching him build relationships with the staff, doing announcements before meals, being crazy with the kids, and all kinds of other campish things.
It was 12 years ago that I was sitting in a Bible school dorm room, praying about my future and asking God if I could please marry a youth pastor or a camp director. Well, Ben’s been both now, and life with him just keeps getting better and better, so today I want to say that I feel very blessed to be married to the Program Director!
