If you weren’t at tonight’s coffee house, you missed out. It wasn’t any ordinary coffee house!
In chapel we went over the beatitudes which are basically values that are important to Jesus. We also were shown the opposite of these values which would be the world’s values. The main passage Adrian used was Matthew 5:1-10. He closed with two important points: (1) Know God’s Word. It has more wisdom than what the world has to offer. (2) Follow Jesus’ example. It needs to be in this order because we find out what Jesus’ example is by reading the Word.
We as a staff would ask that you continue to pray for the campers and staff. There has not been a whole lot of movement and reaction to the Holy Spirit this week, so pray that the walls would come down in their lives as well as ours so that God may be glorified.
